Welcome

Blue Mountains Photography Group was established over 60 years ago. In that time it has become a welcome meeting place for many Blue Mountains photographers.

We are a mixed bunch of friendly locals. Many of us love shooting landscapes and nature here in the Blue Mountains. Some of us are more at home working with people and shooting portraiture and street photography. We have a number of very creative photographers who continue to experiment with their techniques. Flower photography and macro subjects are other favourites.

No matter our style of photography, what we all appreciate is the opportunity to catch up and engage with the work of others.

We meet in the hall behind the Presbyterian Church in Macquarie Rd Springwood on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month of an evenings at 7.30pm. We welcome visitors and other photographers.

How To Join Our Club

Visiting Our Club

We always enjoy welcoming visitors to our meetings. Community members are welcome to come along as a visitor to see what we do. As a visitor you are able to attend 3 meetings before having to join the club. All we ask is that you sign in and pay $3 as the door fee.

Becoming A Member.

Our annual fee is $70 for adults and $35 for school students. Your membership application should be completed and either emailed to president@bmpg.org.au or brought along to a club meeting.

A committee member will check the form and arrange for two club members to validate it. Once this is completed you will receive club emails and be welcome to participate in all our activities.

We also offer a small welcome pack with 2 photo mats that you may find useful.
